NEW - Do you want to try a new Sport?
If there are enough people interested we intend to hold some "Beginners" sessions for various sports available to us.
These sports include SHORT TENNIS, BADMINTON, PICKLE BALL, TABLE TENNIS, RACQUETBALL AND SHORT MAT BOWLS
Equipment is available for loan from Reception
You can register your interest by either putting your name down on the form on the club noticeboard at the Sports Centre or fill in the Comments and Feedback form using the following link
BEAT THE QUEUES - Online Booking/Payment for the Alton Health and Fun Club
You can now Pay and Book for the Alton Health and Fun Club sessions online using the Everyone Active Website or APP, with no need to pay at Reception (unless you are booking for Aqua).
Once booked and paid for online you can just scan your Membership Card or Barcode (on the App on your phone) at the turnstiles and avoid the queues.
YOGA - Come and join our Yoga classes at the Alton Health and Fun Club,
Mondays at 12:30pm (Louise) or Fridays at 11:30am (Holly).
Alton Health and Fun Club Yoga classes combine strengthening and stretching postures with joint mobility exercises, as well as breathing and guided relaxation.
Some of the benefits you will see from a regular practice of Yoga are; improvements in balance, enhanced breathing, better joint mobility, reduction in anxiety and stress, and more restful sleep.
All of the physical postures can be modified and adapted for your needs, and there are chairs available for those who would like the choice of a seated practice. We look forward to seeing you in a class soon!
